Staking - Staking is participating in a proof-of-stake (PoS) system by locking tokens to serve as a blockchain validator and earn rewards.
 
Total Value Locked (TVL) - Тotal value locked represents the number of assets that are currently being staked in a specific protocol.
 
Airdrop - A marketing campaign that distributes a specific cryptocurrency or token to an audience.
 
Bridges - A blockchain bridge allows the seamless transfer of data or tokens between two different blockchain projects.
 
DeFi - A movement encouraging alternatives to traditional, centralized forms of financial services.
 
Gwei - The denomination used in defining the cost of gas in transactions involving Ether.

Hot Wallet - A cryptocurrency wallet that is connected to the internet for hot storage of cryptoassets.
 
Initial Dex Offering (IDO) - An initial dex offering (IDX) is an alternative to an initial coin offering (ICO).
 
Over-the-Counter (OTC) - Over-the-counter is defined as a transaction made outside of an exchange, often peer-to-peer through private trades.
 
Pair - Trade between one cryptocurrency and another, for example, the trading pair BTC/ETH.
 
Whitelist - A list of interested participants in an initial coin offering, who registered their intent to take part or purchase in a sale.
